Beautiful Tasmania
I have just added a few more photos of a few of the places we visited in Beautiful Tasmania you will see Franklin House owned by the National trust of Tasmania and well worth a visit as the guides are great then there is a wooden boat on the Tamar River this is very rare also the Monkeys in the Gardens right in the centre of the city well worth a visit to see the antics that they get up to and a visit to Edith Creek to see Allendale Gardens is a must as it is the best Garden display in Tasmania as you arrive there are at least 6 little dogs there to welcolme you and when you walk around the gardens in aw you wonder how they do it all by themself with no help but Max and Lorrain are so dedicated to this garden it is a great delite to all who visit them and the Wholemeal scones are to die for.

CHILTERN
Hi What a great day out at this historical town with lots to see and do such as the old Vine and the Chemist as well as visit the Star theatre this really dates back to the 1800s and has been fully restored by people who fell in love with it and bought it back to life.It was lunch at the Mulberry Tree with beautiful sandwiches and home made cake Yummy and then time to go at our own pace and enjoy the antique shops and spend money buying bits to take home
Bright and Beechworth
Hi one of the days we went across to Beechwoth spending time on a town tour conducted by Pat Doyle who always runs a great town tour for and hour and explains a lot that only a local would knownwe seen much more than just doing a quick look around by our self Pat is just terrific and is very good on the history of Beechworth it was then time to have time to look around the town by ourselves and enjoy the heritage and beautiful old shops it was an interesting day out.

BRIGHT IN THE RAIN
Hi everyone just been to BRIGHT and the weather was raining all week we could not get to Mt Buffalo as there was snow and black ice on the road so we went to see Lake Buffalo instead this turned out a great place to go to fill in and to day we intended to go over Mt Hotham but once again snow and very dangerous black ice stopped us so we travelled to Chiltern and everyone really enjoyed there day here as there is many interesting buildings to see and we had the chance to see inside a few like the old chemist shop as well as see lots of antique shops and had a lovely lunch at the mulberry patch and old bank and to top it of on the way home we visited a winery this topped the day of and then its down the highway to Melbourne calling into Bennala and its art gallery and also see the statue of Weary Dunlop in the park before heading for a great lunch at the Prince Albert Hotel in Seymore then all good things come to an end as we all head home.Perhaps next year it will be better weather as it is some of the heaviest rain I have had there in many years but everyone had a great time.
